This Asia - Fit Study involves 7 major metropolitan cities in southeast Asian countries which are Hong Kong, (Shanghai) China, Tokyo, (Seoul )Korea, ( Kuala Lumpur) Malaysia, (Taipei )Taiwan, and Singapore. The purpose of this study is to compare the levels of physical activity, fitness and obesity of youth among the 7 countries. Stratified random sampling is used in choosing 400 boys and 400 girls adolescent in each two age sectors ( 12 - 13 & 14 - 15 years) from difference school district of cities. Why not they involve primary kid ? because primary kid quite difficult to make among them because they too young to be organised. The outcomes of this study hopefully will be used for policy makers to better understand the effectiveness of exercise and sports promotion strategies and to plan for future national policies.
