Exercise physiology & metabolism







My entry title today actually related to my today's lec...it's quite interesting topic...so that I stress myself pliss pliss open yor eyes Bigger and bigger, pliss dun getting sleppy annn...coz I really really wanna focus for every single word come from Dr Farah. It's sumtink ''New'' + ''Useful'' info which I'm eager to keep it in my mind as nutrition student

Orait..lets weee start.....
 '' Actually exercise couldn't help in losing weight ''.
(Dis be da first sentence that enter my brain wen I just enter my class)
..wat? wat? (tertanya2 dan menjerit dlm hati) OM Gucci !!!...wat da purpose that i'm going to my aerobic class for every Saturday and sunday if that's just for nothing ?? pluss I need to spend 2 hours for each class..ARrrrGghh....Never mind..i just sit and listen listen listen carefully for nex info...

ok now...wat's the diff between exercise & physical activity?? hhmmmMM

Physical activity >>>> any bodily movement by skeletal muscles that requires energy expenditure
Exercise             >>>> Physical activity that is planned, structured and repetitive for the purpose of 
                                   conditioning any part of da body

then Exercise can b divided into 2 :
FIRST : Static / isometric exercise
(example only yerrrr...dis kind of exercise actually do not involve any movement and It's good if u can do it for 1 minute or mayb more if u can do laaa.)

SECOND : Dynamic / isotonic exercise

( Oso as an example, other example like run, aerobic dance, swim)

I fil tired + sleepy + less energy already...for making my celoteh jadi panjang...so i tink it's good enough if I just state wat can I summaries from da 3 hours lec :

 Wen u increase yor exercise intensity....
# It will help in increasing yor blood capilary, then u will have many blood , from there.. u will increase yor oxygen concentration due to increase oxygen uptake during exercise....so it will help in increase mitochondria in yor muscle....wat so important wit dis mito ha?? Dis mitochondria will make ATP for our body then will create oxygen looooo...

# Other than that...wen u do exercise, it oso will help in oxidizing our body fat by breaking da bond between fatty acid and triglyceride(TG) ,Lastly which is much more important is, it help in burning more caloric during resting (Resting metabolic Rate).....
