Nutrionist Accesories ^_^

In doing nutrition counseling or taking diet recall/FFQ, we cannot just talk talk or ask ask people without using any tool/ apparatus....

Lg2 kalau golongan elderly..their cognitive function is not really in good mode ady la.. if in this case, we will ask their caregiver dtg sama2 loooo

Actually apparatus used to help our clients / patients to recall back what they have eaten for last few days and try to help them to estimate da food/ drink portion that they have been eating.

example kalo tak use any tool :

Nutr : boleh En bgtahu En makan nasi banyak mana?

Incik : ooo... seingat sy la kan...adala dalam setengah pinggan jer ...sikit jer sy makan...

Nutr :  ( p/s : biaq betui..berat tak turun2...ckp sikit konon) tettttttt spechelesssss kot... =_= !!

seeee !! adakah pinggan incik tu besaq dari pinggan kita ka? atau dia sendri tak dpt estimat byk mana ka?

Counseling is not an easy job....seriously..we need to be patient in handling people..because each person come with their own background, style, mood, bla bla bla.... can u  pliss pliss imagine, one patient/subject, needs AT LEAST.. * at least  *( blink2, bold, capital ) 30 minutes for one session....ahha..without saliva    ( air liur dalam bahasa Melaaayyuu nyer) dan peti suara...tak tau la nak buat mcmna...haha.

Orait..below here..i try to show some ofapparatus used by nutritionist & dietitian during do any kind of consultation.....seee ^________^.. i got plate and bowl which come in variety of size, got glass, cup, spoon but no fork ...got senduk oso...weeeeeee..   WELL..willing to sacrifice some $$$$$$$$ for my client/ patiens/subjects to buy all those things... T_T....untongla u oll

In food album , provided by IKU ( Institut Kesihatan Umum), we can see the measurement  given for each apparatus....so from here we as nutrionist/ dietition can try to estimate da actual amount of food/ drink which eaten by our clients/patients/subjects... Other than food album, in Malaysia, we can oso use food composition table book as our reference. guna jgn tak guna ekkkk

Flight from ScOTLand to Malaysia

I feel great when I can meet him in Malaysia.....suddenly i'm getting homesick for Scotland T_T

 This picture was taken last 3 years during i'm still in first year..but now i'm in my final year already.....He took us to Pakistan Restaurant then treat our lunch there...I was so much into appreciating the taste of Pakistan dishes even i'm getting diarrhea after a few hours ingested them..hehehehe..hihihihi..

  Ok..ni plak growth chart yang sebenarnye... Nama dia weight for age chart sbb hanya ada data weight dgn age jer untuk kanak 2 lahir pada tahun 2009 kebawah...kalau lahir pada tahun 2010 sampai la skrg, kita boleh dpt data panjang sbb skrg ni guna buku.....buku tu tebal + warna warni + ada semua graf prtumbuhan kanak2 sampai umur 5 thun + ada perkembangan bayi dan kanak2 mengikut umur...Usaha kerajaan sungguh murni menambah baik rekod bayi dan kanak2, antara nak tak nak jer parents zaman skrg nk tgk buku tu jer...

Conducting my pilot study by ONLINE ??

Pilot study can be done by online ? Yes or No??
I quite doubt on how dis Free Online survey can show the validity of the survey to meee because surely we cannot ensure how da respondents looks like, i mean , that they totally meet our study criteria? BIG QUESTION MARK over it .ahha

This crazy idea suddenly came across my mind when I 've no ideas or strategies on how I can get multiracial respondents among primary school children, and now is school holidays...hahahaha

Now i realize, pilot study not an easy task to be carried out actually...u must do some work and do some observation about how the questionnaire will be answered by our respondents in actual situation. Does the questionnaire can be understand by your respondents/ layman?? we need to be able to answer dis question before make it start ya...
